This notice describes how this SolarDirect build handles information. The site operator must review its contact and retention arrangements before opening submissions.

Information you choose to share

A callback request can contain your name, mobile number, optional email, city, system size and message. It is stored in the editorial inbox. Your form consent permits the team to share it with the business you selected; the application does not automatically broadcast it to other businesses.

Business suggestions and reviews

Business suggestions are held for editorial review. Published business profiles may contain business contact details. Reviews publish the display name and comment you submit only after moderation. Do not submit another person’s private information without permission.

Browser storage and security logs

Saved and comparison lists are stored in your browser, without an account. A necessary session cookie supports login, form security and notices. The application uses short-lived rate-limit records derived from a hash of the connection IP. Your hosting provider may maintain separate access and security logs.

Website diagnostics

When enabled, first-party diagnostics record sanitized website errors, affected paths without query values, technical file/line information, occurrence times, random request references and a broad browser family. They help the operator investigate failures. Error records do not intentionally collect form contents, cookies, authorization headers or function arguments. Common sensitive text is filtered, and diagnostic records are restricted to authorised administrators.

Repeated issues are grouped. Private journals rotate by size. A scheduled maintenance process can delete old resolved or ignored issues; unresolved issues remain available for investigation. The operator must set an appropriate retention schedule for the database, journals and backups. Browser diagnostics can be disabled through the site configuration.

Following a business website, source document, telephone or WhatsApp link may take you to another provider. Their privacy practices apply after you leave this site. No third-party analytics or advertising scripts are bundled with this build.

Retention and requests

Enquiries and reviews remain in the directory database until an authorised editor deletes them. Hosting backups may retain earlier copies. Before launch, the operator should publish a specific retention schedule and a monitored contact for access, corrections, withdrawal requests and deletion requests.
