A useful directory should be clear about what it knows — and what it has not verified.

“Details listed”

The profile has been published by an editor. This alone does not mean the company’s identity, claims, workmanship, government registration or customer experience has been independently verified.

“Business details checked”

This label requires a business-check date and a supporting source. It covers identity or contact information, not workmanship or financial stability. In this build the badge expires after 90 days by default unless the operator configures a different review interval. Open the source and date on the profile to understand the evidence.

Scheme registrations and approvals

These are recorded separately with a scope, reference, source and checked date. A legacy checkbox such as “MNRE empanelled” is not treated as proof. The profile must identify the actual registration or approval and its applicable authority and scope. An expired or stale record loses its checked label.

Prices and warranties

A listed price is indicative, not a binding quotation. We show price dates and scope where recorded. Warranty information should be confirmed against the actual model and written terms. Product, performance and workmanship warranties must not be assumed to mean the same thing.

Reviews and demonstration content

Moderated reviews are customer-reported experiences; moderation is not proof of a purchase. Demonstration profiles are labelled as fictional and should be removed before a public launch.

Before you commit

Confirm current information with the relevant authority or business. Request itemised equipment, installation scope, payment milestones, warranty documents and a written complaint-resolution process.
